The 2009 Liepaja Windsurfing Festival, which also included round one of the Baltic Sea Cup, has now come to a close. Eleven races over 3 days, in a wide range of conditions, completed a memorable championships and ensured that Liepaja Windsurfing Festival has a great future.
Topping the results board, with convincing wins, were: Paulius Voverys (LTU 718) - Techno Under 15 Marcin Urbanowicz (POL 011) - Techno Under 17 Kevin Jakobson (EST 63) - RSX Youth A very successful and well run regatta - full credit to windsurfing club Rietumkrasts, Latvian Windsurfing Association and Liepaja City.The BSC comprises 3 events for Techno 293 junior and RSX youth racers, and hosts this year include Latvia, Germany and Russia. | |
