South American championship 2017 - Highlights

Club Nautico San Isidro hosted South American windsurfing championships 2017. Beautiful but very challenging location, venue of the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, tested all participants in variety of condition during the week and best took home the titles. For some highlight of their career, for most only another stop on their windsurfing journey.

They have completed their 12 races and Ait Ali Slimane Lina (ALG-12) stamped her authority over her rivals by winning all three races today, finishing the championship a clear four points ahead of Salma Weal El Ashmawy (EGY-5) who takes a well deserved second place on the podium.  Rezouani Naila (ALG-4) completes the podium in third place.

For the Youth Olympic Games it is Algeria and Egypt who have qualified.
