At last competitors have been able to take to the water for three thrilling races which makes for a valid Championship.

Currently leading the Techno 7.8 men's fleet is Mateo Sanz from Spain who took the first bullet.  In second place is Britain's Samuel Sills who won the second race, in third is Frenchman Laurent Finck and Davide La Vela from Italy is currently in fourth place - so, no single country dominates and there does not appear to be a clear winner.  Adrian Jimenez ESP 33, all the way down in 16th place, will be desperate for more races so that he can discard his OCS - a disastrous start to his championship. He was third in the second race and first in the third race so is a very strong contender for the top place.  The fleet numbers 50 in all and other competitors have had their moments of triumph - for instance, Ralph Budden ISR 675 took second in race 2.  All to play for!

In the men's 6.8 Maxime Labat from France heads the leaderboard with two bullets and Daniele Benedetti is in second place with two seconds!  There are 36 competitors in this fleet and it appears that the Brits and the Italians are battling for places at the top but generally results are mixed so far.

In the girls' 6.8, five are in the running.  Italian Veronica Fanciulli is at the top with a first and third, Naomi Cohen from Israel is close behind with a second and fourth, then Pole Hanna Idziak is in third with a 6th and 1st, but shares 7 points total with Catherine Fogli from Italy, with Bruna Ferracane from Italy in fifth place. 

In the girls' 7.8 Helene Noesmoen from France has established her dominance right from the start with three bullets!  Her nearest rival, Natalia Wojcik from Poland is 9 points behind, with Ofir Halevy ISR yet another three points behind in third place.  Noa Buzaglo from Israel will be cursing - a second and a third followed by OCS has dropped her down to 9th overall!
