ASA Israel and the Israel Yachting Association are pleased to announce the 23rd International ASA Windsurfing Championship & the 13th Winter Games to be held at Eilat, Israel from 24-27 February 2008.

This Championship event will be sailed in memory of Ofer Botzer who sadly passed away on 17 February 2007 at the age of 42. Ofer was the first ASA Champion in 1985 and won many medals and titles in the Windsurfing Youth & Olympic Classes in in the 1980's.

Ofer was Israeli National Champion - 1984-1985

North American Champion - 1985

Maccabia Champion - 1985

The organisers and his family would very much appreciate your participation in this event in honour of Ofer and his contribution to the sport of windsurfing.

Bic Techno 293 OD Youth Junior with 7.8-6.8,5.0 sails

One design students - sails 6.5 - equipment provided
