Nove Mlyny hosted the last main race of the season at the weekend September 5th-6th called - Vitr z vinohradu - (in english translation it means Wind of Vineyards).
It was the first race as part of the Super Cup for Bic Techno 293 Class in the Czech Republic, this means that the young Czech athletes first competed with contestants from Germany, Hungary and Slovakia. Attendance was high, beyond expectations, and on the starting list appeared 36 competitors.

Weather conditions were not easy because the wind reached on Sunday up to 14 m/s and waves were comparable to those at sea. Despite challenging conditions competitors fought as they could.
5 girls participate the race of whom the powerfull wind mastered Karolina Berankova from Slovakia (SVK11).
In the overall ranking in the class Bic Techno first place went to Stephan Hecker (GER864) from Germany as he also won the category in 17 years.
Richard Geiger (HUN208) from Hungary was the fastest in the category up to 15 years, followed by the best Czech rider Petr Cech (CZE48 TJ Delfin Jablonec), who finished 8. in overall standings.
"It was good to be weighed against competitors outside of the Czech Republic, the stronger wind sat me very well." Commented Petr on the race.
Category up to 13 years dominated the Hungarian Morvai Balint (HUN3000). Second place in this category took home racer Adam Stepansky (CZE40 TJ Slavia - Ceska Skalice).

Congratulations and many thanks to the organizing Yacht Club Dyje for the organization of the race.
