The Working Party established by the 2007 AGM have concluded that the proposal from Bic Sport be accepted, subject to contract.

The Class Committee is close to finalising the contract for supply of the rig to the class.  The christmas holiday period has delayed the completion of the Agreement, which requires the attention of both Bic Sport managers and ISAF officials.

The committee's attention is also focused upon the "fair and equitable" distribution of stock (of both 6.8 and 7.8 rigs) held by Bic Sport in France; and the forward ordering of rigs for delivery during April.

It has been decided that the existing stock held by BicSport shall be allocated to countries based upon their level of participation in the 2007 World Championship. The IWA office shall be responsible for managing this allocation, and for liaising with BicSport over the distribution.

The procedure for forward ordering rigs will be published once the agreement is finalised.

No rigs shall be distributed until a contract is signed.
